I am originally from a little town in South Africa called Benoni. I immigrated to the States when I was 7 years old as a refugee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Life has always been a journey to say the least.

I met my incredible wife in Mijas Pueblo, Spain at a school that we were both attending. Spain is where I first fell in love with photography. Which if you ever get the chance to visit the south of Spain... you will know exactly why! My passion for it really grew when we got our first cat together. Seriously...I must have taken 1,000 photos of that cat. All white cat with blue eyes in an all white village with blue flower pots down every street; it was a backdrop made in heaven. The reality is that when our son was born I wanted to capture every moment with him and so I started to learn the techniques behind what it takes to be a great photographer. It wasn't until we moved back to the United States that I began to pursue photography full-time.

Being a husband, and now a dad of three amazing kids has given me the most incredible opportunities to capture moments that are so precious. I want that for others. One of my favorite quotes is..."When's the last time you did something for the first time?" That's why I do photography. To give you a moment that will never be repeated, and is sealed in time through an image that you will be proud to display for generations to come.
